Hi. Glad you made it this far.

I've been writing professionally for nearly 25 years. First for newspapers, then magazines, with books and television projects along the way.

These days, I write most often for Travel + Leisure, about wine and food (I'm the Wine and Spirits Editor there) but also occasionally unrelated topics. I'm also a contributing editor for Tennis Magazine, and a frequent contributor to the Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal.

Occasionally you can find my sports features in Sports Illustrated, or book reviews in the Washington Post's BookWorld, or stories on a wide range of topics in one of another of the many other magazines I've written for through the years - titles as diverse as Money, Gourmet, Los Angeles Magazine, and Men's Health.

As I travel the world on various projects, I also find myself stumbling upon compelling stories and fascinating information that doesn't fit into the story I'm writing. I discover restaurants and hotels worthy of mention across the continent and beyond, and narratives about winemakers, athletes and ordinary people that deserve to be told.

Accordingly, those of you who look for stories of mine in various publications can also find them here. And by using the "Where's Bruce?" feature, you can learn where I am on the newsstand each month, and where I'll be speaking. You can read wine news, notes and gossip in "Wine Confidential," though I don't update it nearly as often as I'd like to ... and even submit questions in "Ask Bruce."
